It is a sad day in political news. If you haven't heard, Tim Russert passed away yesterday while doing voiceovers for Meet the Press at the Washington NBC studios. He was 58 years old.
I read a quote from Barack and it really hit me. He said "There wasn't a better interviewer in television." I feel this way as well. Every Sunday I have always been excited to see who Tim would put to the test. He had a way with taking people to task that is unmatched in the media. I just hope his journalism style will live on.
I suppose in a way I still haven't fully gotten my brain around it.
Sunday morning will never be the same.
We'll miss you Tim.
